I have a
shelter called the Iowa Bunkhouse, pasture area for
primitive camping, 7 to 8 miles of trails, and a heated
bunkhouse with a restroom, lunch table and TV if anyone is
interested in a Saturday ride. No charge for the use
of my facilities . Please bring your own food.
It is about 15 minutes drive from my place to the Elk Grove
Wildlife Management Area for the Sunday ride.
Direction:
From Hamlin: Take Hwy 44 west 4 miles to MP 41
Find Falcon Ave and go 2 miles north to 230th St. Turn
East at 230th and Falcon Ave. and go 100 feet.
From Kimballton: Take Hwy 44 for 4 miles East to MP 40
Find Falcon Ave. and go 2 miles North to 130th St. Go
East (right) 100 feet and you are there.

Alvin will be
hosting rides at his place also on May 24th. No charge for
camping overnight and riding the Wildlife Management on Sunday.
The ride on Sunday will begin at 10:00 AM. There will be a
potluck lunch, so please bring a favorite dish to share with the
other riders. You will want to bring your own beverage and lunch
ware. We will be meeting in the South Parking lot.
Directions:
From Guthrie Center take F32 North and West about 10
miles to Dogwood road North. Go 1 mile North on Dogwood to
the parking lot. If you are coming from
Coon Rapids, take N46 South about 10
miles to F32 East. Go East on F32 about 2 miles to Dogwood
then go North 1 mile to the parking lot.

There will be a potluck lunch following the morning ride.
